A Creo Unite assembly is a 3D CAD assembly that contains both Creo Parametric file types and other CAD file types. Creo Unite files are created in Creo Parametric. You can import Creo Unite files into Creo Illustrate like Creo Parametric *.prt and *.asm files.

In the assembly directory on the local disk, the wrapper file name has the form filename.extension.creo and functions like any other file. In Windchill the wrapper is named filename.creo and is stored as secondary content alongside the original.
