Creo Illustrate comes in two licensed editions.

Edition	Description
Creo Illustrate	Includes 2D and all 3D functionality.
Creo Illustrate Essentials	Provides basic functionality. These tools are not available: • Edit Structure mode • Smart Explode • Assemble Tool • 2D figures

The following options require additional licensing:

• Massive Assembly

• Schematic Illustrator—Required to open a C3DI or PVZ file that contains Schematic data.

Depending on the Creo Illustrate license configurations set up by the systems administrator, you can retrieve licenses for your workstation according to your tasks and borrow licenses for working offline. The optional applications can be set to load at startup or when required. This flexibility enables efficient license sharing and smaller loads on workstations. To work offline, you must borrow temporary Creo Illustrate licenses.
