Output Options for Thermal Analyses
The following items appear on the Output tab on the dialog boxes for steady-state thermal and transient thermal analyses:
• Heat Flux—Allows calculation of heat flux as a part of the analysis. This check box is selected by default. Clear this check box if you do not want to calculate heat flux.
• Plotting Grid—Specifies the density of the plotting grid that determines where
Creo Simulate calculates results.
• Output Steps—Specifies the steps in the time range at which you want
Creo Simulate to report results. For a steady-state thermal analysis the
Output Steps area is available only if the
Nonlinear / Use Load Histories check box is selected.

You cannot define load histories for an analysis of a model that does not contain any nonlinearities.
