Closed Curve Handling in Style
You can create closed curves as periodic or nonperiodic curves.
Release: Creo Parametric 4.0
Benefits and Description
You can watch a video that demonstrates this capability.
You can create closed curves as periodic or nonperiodic curves as described below:
A new option is available to toggle the periodic and nonperiodic state of the closed curve.
Closed curves are defined as periodic by default.
Periodic curves have no tangency control on endpoints.
Nonperiodic curves are split in two halves during regeneration to support downstream creation of sketch-based features.
As the result of the start and end point continuity, periodic curves create better quality surfaces. This supports the reuse of curves as b-splines inside Sketcher.

* Legacy curves will not change to periodic curves.
