Standards–Based Syntax Checking of Geometric Tolerances in Model-Based Definition
Geometric tolerance annotations have built in syntax checking.
User Interface Location: Click Annotate > Geometric Tolerance.
Release: Creo Parametric 4.0
Benefits and Description
You can watch a video that demonstrates this capability.
Geometric tolerance annotations have built-in syntax checking to ensure that the specified tolerance value and datum references, including modifiers, comply with ASME and ISO GD&T standards. If text is typed into the tolerance value or datum reference boxes that does not meet the conventions defined by the standard, it is identified on the Geometric Tolerance tab, as well as in the graphics area. When you click the red wavy underline in the ribbon, a message appears that describes the violation.
