To Create a Flatten-Quilt Deformation
After you have created a flattened quilt, you can flatten curves or bend solids.
1. Click Model > Surfaces > Flatten-Quilt Deformation. The Flatten-Quilt Deformation tab opens.
2. Click to bend a flattened quilt, or click to flatten a bent quilt.
3. Click the Flatten Quilt Feature collector, and select a Flatten Quilt feature.
4. Click the References tab, and set the following options:
Select or clear the Solid Geometry check box to toggle the bending or flattening of solid geometry.
Click the Quilts collector and select quilts to bend or flatten.
Click the Curves and Points collector and select curves to bend or flatten, or datum points to transform.
5. Click to create the feature.
