Convection Boundary Condition—Creo Simulation Live
A convection boundary condition simulates convection heating or cooling at a selected surface. It overrides the default ambient temperature in the solution.
To Define a Convection Boundary Condition
1. Click Live Simulation > Prescribed Temperature. The Convection Condition dialog box opens.
2. Type a name for the boundary condition or accept the default name.
3. Select a surface to which you want to apply the boundary condition. Your selection appears in the References collector.
4. Type a real number value for the convection coefficient. Select units for convection coefficient from the list or accept the default units.
5. Type a real number value for the bulk temperature in the Value box. Select units for bulk temperature from the list or accept the default units.
6. Click OK to create and save the convection boundary condition.
