To Define Design Limits for an Optimization Study
This procedure assumes that you are in the Optimization Study Definition dialog box.
1. In the Design Limits area of the dialog box, click Creo Simulate displays the Measures dialog box. Use this dialog box to add the Design Limits definition fields.
2. Select the measure that you want to minimize or maximize and click OK. Creo Simulate returns you to the Optimization Study Definition dialog box.
3. Select a mathematical operator (<, >, or =) and enter a Value for the selected measure in the same row as the Measure name.
4. If you defined more than one analysis of the relevant type, select the required Analysis from the drop-down list.
5. If you included more than one load set for a static, prestress static, or steady-state thermal analysis, use the Loadset drop-down list to select a different load set for which you want the measure to be evaluated.
6. If you selected a modal and prestress modal analysis, select a mode number from the Mode drop-down list.
7. If you want Creo Simulate to track a specific mode shape, select Track Specific Mode.
Repeat steps 1 through 3, and any required subsequent steps, for each measure you selected as a design limit.
