To Add a Dimension to a Design Study
This procedure assumes that you are in a design study.
1. Click

2. Click on the feature or component in the model to highlight the dimensions.
3. Select a highlighted dimensions to add to the
variables table.
The selected dimension appears with the name, current value and the associated units. Creo Simulate also inserts minimum, initial, and maximum values for optimization study. Start and end values is inserted for global sensitivity and setting value is inserted for local sensitivity and standard design study.
4. If you want to change the name of the dimension, Click on the Variable name and change the name.
For parts in an assembly, Path is displayed in addition to the name.
5. Review the values and change them if necessary.
