Selecting geometry in Results User Interface
When you select a desired geometry or coordinate system of a model in result window, you can either use Creo Parametric selection methods or Creo Simulate results window. By default, Creo Simulate uses Creo Parametric selection methods for selecting geometry and coordinate systems in results.
Creo Parametric selection methods allows you to select objects directly on your model.
Follow these guidelines when working with Creo Parametric selection window:
The model loaded in the Creo Parametric selection window is a solid representation of the model.
If your model has shell pairs definitions, post-processor automatically performs the mapping to the compressed geometry.

* Creo Parametric selection window does not allow you to select surfaces or edges of the compressed geometry.
If you select an edge, post-processor assumes them as a curve.
When you use the Creo Parametric selection window you can select composite curves.
If you select a vertex or datum point, post-processor assumes them as a point.
To select a volume, you should select one or more surfaces of the associated volume. The selection of volume is similar to volume selection in AutoGEM.
To select the default World Coordinate System, you can click middle mouse button on the selection window.
When you use Creo Parametric selection window you can select only those beams that form a chain.

* If you want to select a single beam definition, use Creo Simulate results window. Similarly, use Creo Simulate result window to select a spot weld beam definition.
