Applying Colors to Simulation Objects
Creo Simulate uses color to identify modeling entities, distinguish icons and geometry, indicate the selection state of icons, show meshes, and so on.
Simulation entities are displayed in their default colors. The default colors are listed under Simulation Entity Colors when you click File > Options > System Colors in the Creo Simulate Options dialog box. You can apply custom default colors to simulation entities.
To change the default color of a simulation entity:
1. Click File > Options to open the Creo Simulate Options dialog box.
2. Click System Colors.
3. Select the entity whose color you want to change from the color it displays as part of the Modeling Entity, Load and Constraint, AutoGEM and FEM Mesh, Miscellaneous, and Simulate Results.

* The colors of loads and constraint in results are also controlled by the settings under the Load and Constraint section in the Creo Simulate Options dialog box.
4. Select a theme color as the new default color for an entity of the current session.
5. Click OK.
You can also change the color of a single simulation entity using entity dialog box in the graphics window. This is useful when you want to differentiate between different entities of the same type in a model.
To assign a color to a single entity to differentiate the entity from other entities of the same type:
1. Click the color swatch adjacent to the entity name on the entity dialog box. The Color Editor dialog box opens.
2. Use the Color Wheel, Blending Palette, RGB, or HSV selector to select a color. The box at the top of the Color Editor displays the selected color.
3. Click Close on the Color Editor to apply the selected color to the entity. Colors applied to an entity are saved with the model and are available the next time you open the model.
To learn how to customize the colors for result windows, see Adjusting Color Scale for Fringe, Contour, and Vector Legends and Managing Graphs.
