About Displaying Information
Use the commands in the Information group to view information for your model. The summaries you obtain help you understand the changes to a model and to see its evolution. You can compare the summary information with model summary files for previous versions of the model.
You can display the following information reports in the browser:
Summary—A high-level summary, containing information about the mechanism's entities and number of items present in the model, except where indicated. Inactive entities, wherever listed, include all those entities that are incomplete or suppressed.
Click Summary or right-click the Mechanism node in the Model Tree and select Info > Summary.
Details—Contains all entities and their relevant properties. If a particular entity type is not present, such as Force Motors, the heading is listed with no entries. Inactive entities, suppressed or incomplete, are not listed in the detailed summary.
Click or right-click the Mechanism node in the Model Tree and select Info > Details.
Mass Property—A listing of the mass, center of gravity, and inertia components for the mechanism.
Click or right-click the Mechanism node in the Model Tree and select Info > Mass Property.
Summaries include buttons to highlight entities on the model or display information sheets. See Example: Detailed Summary.
