To Play Back an Animation
You must run an animation at least once before you can use the Playback command to play it back.
1. Click Playback. The Playbacks dialog box opens.
2. Select an animation from the Result Set list.
3. To play a saved animation, click . The Select playback file dialog box opens. Select a .pba file and click Open.
4. To save the current animation results to disk with a .pba extension, click . Only one file can be saved for each animation.
5. To remove the current animation results from the current session, click .
6. To export the animation playback to a frame file with a .fra extension, click .
7. To save the result set as a motion envelope, click .
8. Click Collision Detection Settings to set collision detection options.
9. To designate which segments of the results are shown during playback, clear the Display Time and the Default Schedule check boxes. The dialog box expands.
10. Enter values for the Start and End times:
Click to add the segment to the list for playback.
To replay a segment multiple times, add it to the list multiple times.
To edit Start and End times, select a segment line, enter new values and click .
To delete a segment, select the segment line and click .
11. Click . The Animate toolbar opens above the graphics window. Use the commands to control the speed and direction of your playback.
