Conductivity
Use Conductivity under the Heat module to specify the option to compute the thermal conductivity. You can specify the Conductivity for a selected Domain under the Heat module in the Properties panel.
Constant Prandtl Number—Thermal conductivity for a selected Domain in terms of Prandtl number based on a fixed value or an expression.
Constant Conductivity—Thermal conductivity for a selected Domain directly by Constant Conductivity (W/m-K).
Enthalpy Model
Use the Enthalpy Model to specify the option for computing the relationship between temperature and enthalpy. You can specify the Enthalpy Model for a selected Domain under the Heat module in the Properties panel. The options are listed below:
Constant Capacity—Sets the value of the capacity (heat capacity Cp) for the Constant Capacity under the Enthalpy Model.
JANAF Table—Specifies the enthalpy model for a selected volume using the JANAF Table. The JANAF Table option is where coefficients for a polynomial function of temperature are entered corresponding to values from JANAF data.
User Defined Enthalpy—User-defined enthalpy model to compute h=f(T), the dependence of enthalpy on temperature.
The enthalpy expression must be formulated in units of energy per unit mass (J/kg) and should be a function of temperature and local specific heat (Cp). The local specific heat is a function of temperature and species Cp=f(T,Species).
