Working with Two or More Distinct Pieces
You can unbend a part with two or more distinct pieces of unattached geometry. However, each piece must be unbent using a separate unbend operation. The icons in the lower right of the screen indicate whether the active part has two or more distinct pieces of unattached sheet metal geometry. The number of pieces appears next to the icon. Click the arrow to display the list of distinct pieces.
Keep in mind the following points when working with a model with two or more distinct pieces of sheet metal geometry:
When two or more pieces of unattached geometry share a bent surface reference, first split the area to unbend, then perform a separate unbend operation on each piece of unattached geometry.
Only manual selection of bent geometry is available.
There is no preview of the flat pattern.
