To Use a Quilt to Create a Punch
You must have a quilt in your project to proceed.
1. Click Model > Form > Quilt Form. The Quilt Form tab opens.
2. Click References. The References tab opens. Select a quilt to use.
3. To flip the punching direction , click .
4. To flip the material thickness direction, click .
5. Click Options. The Options tab opens. Choose any of the following operations:
Click Details. The Surface Sets dialog box opens. Select a quilt surface to be excluded from the punch. Click OK.
Click Hide Original Geometry.
Select a placement edge check box for the rounding. Enter a value for the radius and a radius location.
6. Click .
 
* If you use an open quilt as your quilt form reference, the form may fail. In this case, close the tab, select the quilt, click Edit > Flip Normal, and try the procedure again.
