To Create a Datum Point at the Center
Create a datum point at the center of a circular or elliptical datum curve or edge.
1. Click
Model, click the arrow next to
Point, and click
Point. The
Datum Point dialog box opens.
2. Select a circular or elliptical edge or datum curve. A point that lies on the selected entity is created. In the References collector, the location constraint is set to On.
3. In the References collector, click On, and select Center from the list that appears. The point is placed at the center.
4. Click New Point to add more points, or click OK.
