To Create an Internal Sketch
Follow this procedure to create an internal sketch for a sketch-based feature while the feature tab is open.
1. Click the tool to open the tab.
2. Click the Placement tab.
3. Click Define. The Sketch dialog box opens.
4. Select the sketching plane and specify its orientation, or accept the default orientation.
5. Click Sketch. The Sketch tab opens.
6. Click Sketch > References to open the References dialog box. Select references for dimensioning the section, and then click Close.
7. Sketch a section. For the revolved feature, sketch a centerline.
8. Click OK to close the Sketch tab. A preview of the feature geometry appears.
9. Adjust the feature geometry as needed.
