To Edit a Simplified Representation Using the Model Tree
You can use the Model Tree shortcuts to edit existing simplified representations of the model by including/excluding features.
1. Click View Manager on the Graphics toolbar, or click View > Manage Views > View Manager. The View Manager dialog box opens.
2. In the Simp Rep tab Names column, double-click to select the representation, or select the representation and click Options > Set Active.
3. Click Options > Add Column. A column is added to the Model Tree. The name of the representation is displayed at the top of the column. A definition of the representation is displayed in the first line of the column.
4. Click in the column you just added and a text box opens for each item in the model tree.
5. For each item in the model tree, select the one of the following from the text box.
Default—Undoes the include/exclude action.
Include—Includes this feature in the model for this simplified representation (available for the exclude default rule).
Exclude—Excludes this feature from the model for this simplified representation (available for the include default rule).
The status of the feature changes.
