To Change Dimension Values
This procedure applies to most application. If you use the Menu Manager in your application, select a procedure under Using the Menu Manager to Edit.
1. To select a feature or features to edit the dimensions, perform one of the following actions:
In the graphics window:
1. Set the Selection Filter to Features.
2. Double-click a feature to select and edit it. To select more than one feature, hold down the CTRL key and double-click. All feature dimensions appear.
 
* After you double-click to select a dimension, the Selection Filter changes to Dimensions. You can then edit other visible dimensions by placing the pointer on the dimension and right-clicking.
In the Model Tree, select one or more features, right-click, and select Edit. The feature dimensions appear in the graphics window.
 
* When in Assembly mode, click > Tree Filters. The Model Tree Items dialog box opens. Under Display, click the Features check box to display features in the Model Tree.
2. If you select only one dimension, you can change the dimension value in any of the following ways:
Right-click a dimension in the graphics window and choose Value, or double-click the dimension. A value box appears. Type a new value or select a value from the list. The most recently used value is at the top of the list.
Right-click a dimension and choose Properties. The Dimension Properties dialog box opens. In the Properties tab, type a new value in the Nominal Value box and click OK. The selected dimension changes.
3. If you select more than one dimension, right-click a dimension and select Properties. The Dimension Properties dialog box opens. On the Properties tab, type a new value in the Nominal Value box and click OK to change the selected dimensions.
 
* When you are selecting more than one feature to edit, you will not see all the dimensions for the features. Only those dimensions you can edit at the same time appear.
4. To leave the edit dimension state, but remain in editing mode, right-click and select Exit Edit Dimension. The Selection Filter changes to All.
 
* To edit more than one section,
1. Set the Selection Filter to Sections.
2. Double-click the section to select and edit.
3. To select and edit additional sections, hold down the CTRL key and double-click.
