Example: Creating or Extending Side Surfaces in a Move
During a move, click to create or extend side surfaces to fill the gap between the moved surface and the original geometry.
Click Flexible Modeling > Move. Select the top surface, and click on the Move tab.
On the Attachment tab, select Create side surfaces and move the surface up. Side surface are created that connect the moved surface to the original location of the moved surface on the geometry.
On the Attachment tab, select Extend side surfaces. The neighboring surfaces of the moved surface extend until they intersect with the moved surface.
If the moved surface was originally attached to the geometry with rounds or chamfers, click Create round/chamfer geometry to recreate the rounds or chamfers that attach the moved geometry. Available when you select Extend side surfaces.
