To Edit a Material
Click Material Setup to view the available polymers. If you cannot find the required material, customize the properties of an existing material as follows:
1. Select a material under Material library and click Custom. The Material Editor dialog box opens and the selected material is listed under Custom on the Custom material tab. Alternatively, click a material under Custom material and click Edit.
2. On the Physical properties tab, provide the values for the following options:
Material—Select a material from the Material drop down list.
Producer—Type the name of the producer.
Grade name—Type the material grade name.
Melt temperature—Click and edit values for the minimum, normal, and maximum melt temperature.
Mold Temperature—Click and edit values for the minimum, normal, and maximum mold temperature.

* You must use a temperature range that is obtained from experiment. Do not use a temperature range that is obtained from extrapolation or other mathematical methods.
Ejection temperature—Click and edit the value for the ejection temperature.
Freeze temperature—Click and edit the value for the freeze temperature.
3. On the Viscosity tab, select a viscosity model from the Viscosity model drop-down list. Click to modify the parameter values in the table.
4. On the PVT tab, select a pressure-volume-temperature model from the PVT drop down list. Click to modify the parameter values in the table.
5. Click OK. A confirmation message appears.
6. Click OK to confirm the settings.
To Export and Import Materials
On the Custom material tab, select the materials listed under the Custom and click Export. The materials are saved as .mtz file at the specified path.
On the Custom material tab, click Import, and browse to the .mtz file that you want to import. The input file can include one or more materials. If there are multiple materials with the same name, remarks are added for identification.
