To Close a Gap in a Silhouette Curve
1. On the Mold or Cast tab, click Silhouette Curve. The Silhouette Curve tab opens.

3. Click the Light Direction Collector and select a surface, curve, edge, axis, plane, or coordinate system to specify the light direction.
4. Click the Gap Closure tab to view the list of gaps existing in the reference geometry. As you click the Gap Closure tab, all gaps are highlighted in red.
5. On the Gap Closure tab, point to a gap. The respective gap is highlighted in the Graphics window.
6. Click to zoom-in the gap.
7. Click Default next to the gap number that you want to close.
8. Select one of the four options — Default, Upper, Lower, or Middle, as appropriate. Alternatively, right-click a gap and then click Options to select the appropriate option. The gap closes.

You can right-click anywhere in the Gap Closure tab and select Auto Close Gaps to close all gaps, automatically. While automatically closing the gaps, system prefers the Middle, Upper, and Lower options, sequentially.
