To Reclassify an Assembly Component
1. Click
Mold >
Classify or click
Cast >
Components >
Classify.
2. Select the component(s) that you want to reclassify. The MOLD RECLASS or the CAST RECLASS menu appears.
3. Redefine the classification of a component in the assembly by selecting one of the following on the MOLD RECLASS or CAST RECLASS menu:
◦ Workpiece (in Mold) or Die Block (in Cast)—To use the selected component (part or subassembly) as a workpiece or die block.
◦ Mld Base Cmp (in Mold) or Fixture (in Cast)—To use the selected component (part or subassembly) as a mold base component or fixture.
◦ Mold Comp (in Mold) or Die Comp (in Cast)—To use the selected component (part only) as a mold component or die component.
◦ Gen Assem—To use the selected subassembly as a general assembly.
