To Place a User-Defined Feature
User-defined features can be added to the workpiece or die block and to the mold or cast assembly.
Before placing a user-defined feature make sure that the appropriate references (datum planes, axes) are in place.
1. On the
Mold or
Cast tab, click
Tools >
UDF Library >
Integrate.
2. Retrieve the desired UDF into your session using the Open dialog box and follow the prompts to locate it in the current model. The Insert User-Defined Feature dialog box opens.
|  If the group has a reference model, the reference model is retrieved in a separate window. |
3. Click one of the following on the Insert User-Defined Feature dialog box.
