To Define Varied Parameters in an Inherited Reference Part
1. In the Model Tree, click the inheritance feature and select
Edit Definition from the mini toolbar. The
Merge/Inheritance tab opens.
2. Click Options > Varied Items. The Varied Items dialog box opens and the reference part opens in a separate window.
3. Click Parameters. The Select Parameter dialog box opens.
4. In the Select Parameter dialog box, select parameters in the reference model that you want to redefine and click Insert Selected. The selected parameters appear in the Varied Items dialog box.
5. In the New Value column, type the new value for that parameter.
6. Click OK.
