About Creo Modelcheck-PTC Windchill Interaction through Creo Distributed Batch
You can integrate Creo ModelCHECK with Windchill through Creo Distributed Batch. You must configure Creo ModelCHECK , Windchill, and Creo Distributed Batch so that this integration of Creo ModelCHECK and Windchill enables you to perform the following batch tasks:
Generate shape indexing data and populate this data in the Windchill database.
Check and report duplicate models.
Automatically update template information.
Analyze and record the statistics of design quality in the database.
Creo Distributed Batch consists of the following two configurations:
Standalone
Distributed
In the standalone configuration of Creo Distributed Batch, you can run batch tasks on the local computer. This standalone operating mode does not require a license and is included in the Creo Parametric base package.
In the distributed mode, you can distribute large, computationally intensive batch tasks across the network to multiple resources. The task groups are submitted to the Creo Distributed Services Manager (DSM). The DSM distributes the process to all available Distributed Services until the task group is completed. The distributed operating mode is separately licensed from Creo Parametric. For more information, you can refer to the Creo Distributed Batch Help.
