About Snook Lifting or Lowering Analysis Results
Use the results of a Snook analysis to evaluate the following aspects of a design:
The design goal—For all Snook analyses (carrying, lifting, pushing, and so forth), the goal is to accommodate 75% of the female population.
The applied load—Should be equal to or less than the design goal.
Percentage of acceptability—Shows the percentage of the population (male and female) who can safely perform the task.
A Snook analysis uses the default parameters and the posture of the manikin to calculate the most acceptable design goal for a given scenario. After values are entered for the current load, the analysis compares them with current load and defines the broadest level of compliance for men and women.
