To Analyze Pair of Quits or Components
1. Click Analysis > Electrical Clearance. The Clearance and Creepage dialog box opens.
2. Select one or both of the following analysis types:
Clearance
Creepage
3. Under Between, select A quilt-component pair. The two reference collectors are activated.
4. Click to select a component or quilt in the assembly for each reference collector.
5. Specify Clearance threshold, Creepage threshold, and Groove width for the components or quilts.
 
* If both the components or quilts are from existing nets, then the Clearance threshold, Creepage threshold, and Groove width boxes contain the values specified for the net pair in the clearance and creepage file.
6. Under Report, select one of the following option to specify the contents of the report:
All violations—Report all violations between a pair of quilts or components.
The worst violations—Report only the worst violations between a pair of quilts or components.
7. Click Compute to run the analysis. After the analysis is complete, the Quilt/Component Pair Violations dialog box opens with the results.
8. To save the analysis, click Saved Analyses, type a name, and click . The name of the analysis appears in the list of saved analyses. You can perform  the following operations for any saved analysis:
Click in the Clearance and Creepage dialog box to display or hide the clearance and creepage paths generated in the selected analysis.
Click Retrieve to retrieve the selected analysis. Click Compute to perform the selected analysis.
Click Delete to delete the selected analysis.
9. After you perform the analysis and read the report, click Close to close all the dialog boxes.
