Guidelines for the Mesh Data
Use the following guidelines for retaining the mesh data for clearance analyses:
• For a one-time analysis on a large assembly with a small mesh size, clear the mesh data. The mesh data is released after the computation is completed. This helps reduce the memory consumption.
• For several analyses on an assembly, retain the mesh data information. This requires additional memory, but it reduces the total computation time. The mesh data is retained after the computation, so you can perform consecutive analyses quickly.
