About the CTI Class Color File
A CTI class color file is a text file with the .cti extension. This file contains the CTI class color definitions in the following format:
<minimum CTI>,<maximum CTI>,<color name>
The following table gives sample entries in a CTI file and a description of Creo Parametric actions:
CTI File Entry
Description
0,99,gray
Renders all components with a CTI of 0 through 99 as gray.
100,174,red
Renders all components with a CTI of 100 through 174 as red.

The specified color names must exist in the default appearance.dmt file. Otherwise, create a new appearance.dmt file and set the GLOBAL_APPEARANCE_FILE configuration option to a path that points to that file.
The CTI value is not entirely considered during analysis. For example, a CTI value of 1 is treated the same as CTI value of 100. Although they are colored differently, they are analyzed with the same conductivity.
To view components in CTI class colors, you must specify the path and name of the CTI file. Use the CTI_CLASS_COLOR_FILE configuration option to specify the location and the name of the file.
