To Change the Orientation of an Elliptical and Spherical Dimension
To change the orientation of an elliptical dimension:
1. Select the elliptical dimension for which you want to change the orientation. The Dimension ribbon tab becomes active.
2. Click Orientation, and select one of the following orientation type from the list:
Major Radius — The dimension appears with the major radius value (Ra) for the selected elliptical reference.
Minor Radius — The dimension appears with the minor radius value (Rb) for the selected elliptical reference.
3. Click in the graphics area to confirm the reorientation of the selected elliptical dimension.
To change the orientation of a spherical dimension:
1. Select the spherical dimension for which you want to change the orientation. The Dimension ribbon tab becomes active.
2. Click Orientation, and select one of the following orientation type from the list:
Spherical radius — The dimension appears with the radius value (SR) for the selected spherical reference.
Spherical diameter — The dimension appears with the radius value () for the selected spherical reference.
3. Click in the graphics area to confirm the reorientation of the selected spherical dimension.

* You can select only one elliptical or spherical dimension to change the orientation. If you select multiple dimensions, the orientation option is not available for selection.
