To Synchronize Output of NC Sequence Tool Paths
You can synchronize NC steps when an operation references a machine tool with at least two heads and has at least one step defined for each head.
1. On the Model Tree, select the required operation that references a machine tool with two or more heads and click Manufacturing > Synchronize. Alternatively, right-click the operation and select Synchronize from the shortcut menu.
The Synchronize dialog box opens. This dialog box has sequence-related details in a tabular format and synchronize options below the table. See the topic Using the Synchronize Dialog Box for details.
2. Select sequences on two or more heads. For example, select a NC sequence, first from the Head 1 column, then from the Head 2 column, and one from the Head 4 column.
The head of the sequence that you select first becomes the Driving Head. You can change the driving head by clicking the required head option at the bottom of the dialog box.

* The tool path on the slave head is always reordered to align with the tool path on the lead head or driving head. If you edit a synchronization and changes the Lead Head, the location of the synchronization in the synchronize view updates accordingly
3. Click Start of Toolpath. The starts of tool paths begin at the same time. After the tool paths on a head complete the next one begins. The start of an NC step on the driving head is synchronized with the start of a step selected on another head and so on.
The first synchronization operation appears as Synchronization 1 in the table. The selected steps become a part of this synchronization.
You can select multiple steps on Head 1, Head 2, Head 3, and Head 4 to make each one a part of a single synchronization operation. You can also have multiple synchronization operations. These operations are numbered sequentially. For example, Synchronization 1, Synchronization 2 and so on. If you delete a synchronization operation, the sequential numbering is maintained for any new synchronization.

* The numbering of synchronization operations is only for a current session. When you start a new session, the synchronizations are renumbered starting from the number 1.
4. Click to start playing the tool path. The synchronized tool paths start machining at the same time. You can see the tool paths machining simultaneously in the graphics window
5. Click Start of Toolpath to synchronize a point on an NC step on Head 1 to another point on an NC step on Head 2.
6. Click View to select either a Synchronized view or Machining Order view from this list. With the synchronized view you can select tool paths for synchronization. With the machining order view, you can see the order in which the tool paths are executed on the machine.

* The Machining Order view is only for information. You cannot select tool paths for synchronization in this view.
7. Click Gantt Chart to view the synchronization details in a chart format. For details see the topic Gantt Chart of a Synchronized Operation.
8. Click OK to save the changes.

* When you have legacy manufacturing models with synchronizations created, you can retrieve these models, view, and edit existing synchronizations using the Synchronize dialog box. The procedure to view and edit is similar to viewing and editing new synchronizations.
