To Replace a Cutting Tool (File System)
1. Click
Manufacturing >
Tool Manager. The
Tools Setup dialog box opens.
2. To replace a tool with one from a file system, click Edit > Replace or right-click the tool to be replaced and click Replace. The Open dialog box opens.
Select the replacement tool and click Open. The tool in the Tool Setup dialog box and in any NC sequence or Process Manager steps that use the tool is replaced.
If you select a tool of a different type during replacement, a warning appears.
3. Click OK to close the Tools Setup dialog box.
