To Create Automatic Same Behavior Groups
You can create same behavior groups for all the steps in the Process Table using any of the following methods:
In the process table, click on the toolbar. The Mfg Template AE extraction dialog box opens. Click the Options tabbed page. Click the Create same behavior groups check box and click Extract. The extracted steps that are of the same step type, use the same manufacturing criteria name, Mfg template and tool, and have the same orientation are combined to create same behavior groups.
In a Process view, select the step for which you want to create the same behavior group and click Tools > Create Auto Same behavior group for selected step. All the steps that are of the same step type, have the same manufacturing criteria name, use the same Mfg template and tool, and have the same orientation as the selected step are combined to create a same behavior group.
The leader of the same behavior group is identified by the step icon . The steps are not grouped together in the process table. You can edit them individually. However, if you try to edit the tool or parameters of a step belonging to a same behavior group, Creo NC gives an error message that lists the name of the group and the leader step. Similarly, if you try to edit the tool or parameters of a leader step, Creo NC gives a warning that lists the name of the group and indicates that the change will be propagated to all members of the group.

* You can display the names of the same behavior groups for the steps in the Process Table by using the view builder. To do this, open the view builder by clicking on the toolbar. Select Special Parameters from the Grouplist. Click Same behavior set name, and click >> to move the selected special parameter to the Displayed box. Click OK. Use this column to add or remove steps to and from a same behavior group.
