To Change a Feed Range
When modifying range limits, keep in mind that ranges cannot overlap. If you try to enter a minimum or maximum value that falls into any of the currently specified ranges, the system will not accept it. Therefore, the order of modifying range limits is important: for example, if you have two ranges, 20-40 and 40-60, and want to modify them to be 20-30 and 30-60, modify the 20-40 range first.
1. Click Manufacturing > Machine Tool Setup > Feed Colors. The COLOR/RANGE menu opens; for each color definition, the current feed range is shown.
2. Select which feed range you want to modify.
3. Enter the minimum value for feed range (the current minimum value is shown as default in the prompt). Entering 0 will make the range start with a "less than" sign.
4. Enter the maximum value for feed range (the current maximum value is shown as default in the prompt). Entering 0 will make the range start with a "greater than" sign.
5. The new feed range is shown on the COLOR/RANGE menu. All tool motions in the specified feed range will be displayed in the color shown in a small window inside the menu button.
