Saving and Retrieving Work Centers
Work centers are saved as user-defined features (groups) containing a single feature (the work center).
The configuration file option pro_mf_workcell_dir allows you to specify a "library" directory for work centers. There, the work center files will be available to all users for retrieval into their manufacturing processes. The option’s value is the path name (absolute path is recommended) of the directory where the work center files will be stored.
You can load and save a work center using the following options that are available when you click
Manufacturing and the arrow next to
Work Center:
• User-Defined Work Center—Retrieve a work center with its parameters.
• Save Work Center—Save the current work center with its parameters.
Alternatively, select the work center in the Model Tree, right-click and select
Save from the shortcut menu. You can also select the work center in the Model Tree, and click
Manufacturing >
Work Center >
Save Work Center.
