About the Play Simulation Dialog Box
The Play Simulation dialog box contains tool and operation lists, NC information, and gouge and collision reports. You can play, replay, or control the speed of the simulation using the dialog box.
File—Save files on your local disk drive.
Save CL—Save the cutter location file in .cl format.
Save Report—Save all reports as one file in .txt format.
View—Enable settings to generate reports.
Collision Check—Check for any collisions. The report is generated in the Collision Report field. To check for all possible collisions, select the respective check boxes on the Settings sub-tab.
Gouge Check—Check for any gouges. The report is generated in the Gouge Report field.
Tool—Display the tool.
Toolpath—Display the tool path.
Stock—Display the stock.
Target—Display the target part.
Fixture—Display the fixtures.
Stop at Collision—Click to stop the simulation on the first occurrence of a collision. If you play the simulation again, it stops on the second occurrence of a collision. You can repeatedly play the simulation to report all collisions in the Collision Report box.
Stop at Gouge—Click to stop the simulation on the first occurrence of a gouge. If you play the simulation again, it stops on the second occurrence of a gouge. You can repeatedly play the simulation to report all gouges in the Gouge Report box.
Stop at Tool Change—Click to stop the simulation at tool change.
Stop at Sequence—Click to stop the simulation at each NC sequence.
CL Data—Display CL steps with line numbers.
Sequence List—Display the list of all NC sequences with respective color palettes.
Tool List—Display the list all the tools used in the simulation. The colors that are assigned to the tools are displayed next to those tools.
NC Information—Display the NC related information.
Collision Report—Display a list about all collisions occurred. Double-click any collision occurrence in the list to go to the respective cutter location.
Gouge Report—Display the report about all gouges occurred. Double-click any gouge occurrence in the list to go to the respective cutter location.
