To Specify the Trajectory Curve for a 2-Axis Trajectory Milling Step
This procedure describes how you can specify a trajectory curve and offsets for a 2-axis Trajectory Milling step in Process Manager.
1. Select the trajectory milling step in the Process Manager and click on the toolbar below the Process Table. The Curve Trajectory tab opens.
2. On the References tab, click in the Machining Reference collector and select a single curve feature that lies in a plane normal to the z-axis of the step coordinate system.
You can also asynchronously sketch a curve at this point and select it for the sequence trajectory. A yellow arrow indicates the direction of the trajectory in the graphics window.
Alternatively, right-click the graphics window and select Trajectory Curve to activate the Machining Reference collector.
3. Click Details to select related edges or curves and to place them into a group or chain.
4. Click when finished.
