To Specify Travel Limits and Strokes for a Machine Tool
To specify the travel limits and stroke for a workcell in a Process Table, you must be in a Resources view. You must also have at least one workcell defined in the process.
1. Select the workcell for which you want to specify travel limits and stroke and click .
The Work Center dialog box opens.
2. On the Travel tabbed page, specify the minimum and maximum travel limits along the three axes.
3. You can either specify all the travel limits and strokes for the machine tool or you can specify the combination of any of the following:
Minimum or maximum travel limit along any of the axes and the stroke along that axis.
Minimum and maximum stroke along an axis.
Stroke along any or all of the axes.
4. You can also specify the strokes and travel limits using the following manufacturing parameters in the Edit Parameters dialog box.
CELL_X_STROKE
CELL_Y_STROKE
CELL_Z_STROKE
CELL_X_MIN and CELL_X_MAX
CELL_Y_MIN and CELL_Y_MAX
CELL_Z_MIN and CELL_Z_MAX
5. Click to save the changes.
