To Add or Modify an Ordinate Dimension
1. Click
Design >
Ordinate Dimension.

2. Select a line, point, vertex, or coordinate system as a baseline reference.
3. To remove a selected reference, hold down the CTRL key and reselect the reference.
4. To set the direction of the dimension lines when a point is used as a baseline reference, right-click and select Vertical or Horizontal.
5. Hold down the CTRL key and select one or more lines, points, vertices, or coordinate systems to dimension to the baseline. Linear references must be parallel to the baseline reference.
6. Middle-click to place the dimensions and middle-click again to exit the tool.
7. To edit the value of a dimension, select the dimension and then right-click and choose Edit Value from the shortcut menu. Type a new value and press ENTER. The entity updates.
8. To override the value without updating the entity, select the dimension and right-click and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. The Value Display dialog box opens.
Select Override Value and type a new value in the box and click OK.
9. To lock or unlock a dimension, select the dimension and then right-click and choose Lock or Unlock from the shortcut menu.
10. To modify the style of the text, select the dimension and then right-click and choose Text Style from the shortcut menu. The Text Style dialog box opens. Set the style and click OK.
