To Create a Reference Pattern of a Planar Cross Section
To create a cross section through all datum planes of a pattern perform the following steps:
1. On the Model Tree, right-click a cross section created using the leader of a patterned plane.
2. Click Pattern. The Pattern tab opens with the following settings.
◦ The default pattern type is Reference.
◦ The default value for Reference Type is Feature. For example, datum plane.
The cross section locations are displayed in the graphics window using a dot.
3. Specify a name for the pattern using the Properties tab.
4. Click or middle-click. A cross section is created through all datum planes of a pattern and is added to the Model Tree.
