To Cap the Surface of a Cross Section
1. Open a part or assembly.
2. Create a cross section using the Section tool on the View tab. The surface of the cross section is displayed by default in the model color.
3. On the
Section tab, click the
. The
color button is enabled.
4. Click
. A color palette is displayed.
5. Specify a color. The specified color is applied to the surface of the cross section in the graphics area.
6. To revert the color of the surface of the cross section to the model color, click Use Model Color on the color palette.
