Setting up Environment
To Set Environment as Lighting
1. On the View tab, click Scenes and click Edit Scene on the gallery. The Scene Editor dialog box opens.
2. Click the Environment tab.
3. Click the thumbnail to select another environment Image.
 
* You can also load Low Dynamic Range images in the JPG and TIFF formats. However, these images do not provide the rendering quality and effects of High Dynamic Range images in the HDR format.
4. Adjust the sliders to specify the intensity, saturation and rotation angle for the light.
Use the Height and Zoom sliders to adjust the height and magnification of the background image with respect to the model.
To Use Environment Light for Model Reflections in the Enhanced Realism Mode
1. Click Scene Background on the Graphics toolbar to display the environment behind the model.
2. Click Shading With Reflections on the Graphics toolbar to enable enhanced realism. The HDRI is reflected on the model.
 
* Reflections of the Environment light are visible on the model only if you enable Shading With Reflections.
3. On the View tab, click Scenes and click Edit Scene on the gallery. The Scene Editor dialog box opens.
4. Click the Environment tab.
5. Click the thumbnail to select another environment Image.
6. Adjust the sliders to specify the intensity, saturation and rotation angle for the light.
7. Use the Height and Zoom sliders to adjust the height and magnification of the background image with respect to the model.
The reflections of the environment light on the model are dynamically visible.
8. Set the ground effects:
Select Shadow to cast the model shadows on the selected floor plane.
Select Reflection to show model reflections on the selected floor plane.
9. Select a plane from the Floor Plane list to set the orientation of the environment image with respect to the model.
