1. Open the text editor of your choice (such as Microsoft Word or Notepad).

2. Create a new file, and then add the desired commands to customize the Menu Manager. You can add options, blank existing options, and set a default selected menu option.

3. Save the file to your working directory as a text file with the filename menu_def and the extension .pro. If you are working in an editor that does not allow you to use the .pro extension, use the extension .txt and rename the file using Windows Explorer or an equivalent application after the file is saved.
