Collaboration Scenario: Users Without Windchill
In addition to your regular design tasks in the Creo collaborative environment, you can perform various other activities, such as the following:
• Use online catalogs to download standard components from a supplier's catalog into your Creo session.
• Acquire access to the Windchill database of a partner from another company who uses Windchill solutions.
• Retrieve a part from an external site, such as an FTP site.
If you collaborate with an engineer in a different organization, this engineer may give you access to certain Windchill cabinets. This access enables you to check out, download, or check in the engineering objects and business documents using the Creo browser.
