To Move a Drawing Object
1. Select the drawing object that you want to move.
2. Click Sketch and then click on the arrow next to the Edit group.
3. Click
Move Special. The
Select dialog box opens.
4. Select a point on the selected drawing object. The point that you select on the drawing object acts as a origin to calculate the X and Y coordinates. The Move Special dialog box opens.
5. Select one of the following options to move the selected drawing object:
◦ —Move object to location defined as X and Y coordinates. Type the required values in the X and Y boxes.
◦ —Move object to location defined by relative X and Y offsets. Type the required values in the X and Y boxes.
◦ —Snap object to a specific reference point on an entity. Valid entity selections are highlighted when you move the pointer in the graphics window.
◦ —Snap object to a specific vertex. Valid vertices, including intersections, are highlighted when you move the pointer in the graphics window.
6. Click OK. The selected drawing object is moved to the specified location.
