To Modify a PAT Crosshatch Pattern
1. Open a drawing.
2. Select the crosshatching to modify.
3. Double-click or right-click and click Properties on the shortcut menu. The MOD XHATCH menu appears on the Menu Manager.

* If the Hatch XCH command is selected, you need to click Hatch PAT. In that case, the default or the last used PAT pattern is set.
4. Using the MOD XHATCH menu on the Menu Manager, perform one of the following:
Modify the angle. To rotate the pattern relatively to its current orientation, click Angle and click an angle (0, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135, 150) or Value on the MODIFY MODE menu. The system rotates the crosshatch pattern in the counterclockwise direction.

* The default angle of a crosshatch pattern is defined in the PAT file. If the default angle is 45 degrees and you choose the angle 0, the pattern remains at 45 degrees. If you choose 30, the angle of the pattern offsets by that amount and becomes 75 degrees.
Modify the color. To modify the color, click Color and select a color from the Color dialog box. The system changes the color of the crosshatch pattern.
Modify the scale. To modify scale, click Scale and click Half, Double, or Value on the MODIFY MODE menu. The system automatically scales the crosshatch pattern, according to the command you choose for scale.

* You can edit the properties of PAT hatch patterns as a whole entity and not as individual lines. You can use these edited hatch patterns in your models and drawings; however, you cannot save these changes in the PAT file.
* You can define your own crosshatch patterns in a new PAT file and save it for future use or overwrite an existing one and save a copy of it.
