To Create Ordinate Dimensions
1. Click
Annotate >
Ordinate Dimension or
Annotate >
Annotations >
Ordinate Reference Dimension. The
Select Reference menu appears.
2. Select one of the reference options on the Select Reference menu and select a baseline reference on the drawing.
|  You can alternatively select an existing baseline or any part of the existing ordinate dimension’s witness line or text. |
3. Hold down the CTRL key and select another entity to create ordinate dimensions for the selected entities. Drag the dimensions outside the drawing and middle-click to place the ordinate dimensions.
4. Hold down the CTRL key and select the remaining entities to dimension. The dimensions are automatically placed aligning with the ordinate baseline dimension.
| Alternatively, you can select the baseline and all the references to create and place all the dimensions in a single instance. |
5. Middle-click or click Cancel on the Select Reference menu to stop creating dimensions.
