To Update a CATPart TIM through Export
1. Set the hdic_export_v5_to_ws_enable configuration option to yes.
2. Check in a Creo assembly model to Windchill. The checkin creates iteration A.1 of the assembly and its part components as CAD Documents.
3. Export the assembly to CATIA V5. The export creates the top-level and the sub-assembly CATProduct Translated Image Models (TIMs) and the component-level CATPart TIMs in the Workspace.
4. Check in the CATProduct and the CATPart TIMs to the Windchill server. The checkin creates iteration A.1 of the CATProduct and the CATPart TIMs.
5. Check out an A.1 part CAD Document and modify the part in the Creo application.
6. Check in the modified A.1 part to the server. The checkin creates iteration A.2 of the part in Windchill. The Creo part and its CATPart TIM are out-of-date.
7. Open the A.2 Creo part CAD Document and export the A.2 Creo part to CATIA V5. The Conflicts dialog box opens. It prompts you to check out iteration A.1 of the CATProduct and the CATPart TIMs.
8. Click OK in the Conflicts dialog box. The A.2 Creo part is exported to CATIA V5, the corresponding out-of-date A.1 CATPart derived CAD Document is checked out to the Workspace and is updated.
9. Check in the updated A.1 CATPart TIM. The checkin creates iteration A.2 of the derived CAD Document.
